With its premiere set for July 9, the anime Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi has released a new character trailer introducing viewers to Kazuki Mikadono, the eldest of the three Mikadono sisters. Voiced by Yurina Amami (Sorairo Utility), Kazuki is known for her cool, princely demeanor—but the trailer teases what happens when she lets her guard down.
Based on the manga by Aya Hirakawa, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since December 2021, the series is being adapted by studio P.A. Works. Tadahito Matsubayashi (VINLAND SAGA episode director) leads the project as director, with Yusuke Inoue (Skip and Loafer) handling character designs.
The story centers on Yu Ayase, a teenage boy taken in by the wealthy and talented Mikadono family after the death of his mother, a famous actress. As he struggles to escape her shadow, Yu finds himself living with three gifted sisters: Kazuki, a rising star in acting; Nico, a fierce martial artist; and Miwa, a brilliant shogi player. As the siblings begin to develop feelings for Yu, comedic and romantic chaos unfolds.
More character trailers are expected in the lead-up to the show’s premiere as fans are introduced to the rest of the Mikadono sisters.
