The anime adaptation of Let’s Go Karaoke!, based on the manga by Yama Wayama, is officially set to premiere on July 24, 2025. The series will air on TOKYO MX and BS11.
Published in Japan by Enterbrain under the Beam Comics imprint, Let’s Go Karaoke! is also available in English from Yen Press. The anime is directed by Asami Nakatani at Doga Kobo, with Yukiko Tsukahara serving as assistant director. Yoshimi Narita handles series composition, while Mai Matsuura is in charge of character designs and Takuro Ida composes the music.
The story follows Satomi Oka, a middle school choir student facing the pressures of his final competition. Things take an unexpected turn when he is approached by Kyouji Narita, a yakuza member seeking his help to prepare for a karaoke contest organized by his gang boss. With the threat of a painful tattoo hanging over the loser, Satomi suddenly finds himself giving vocal coaching lessons to a gangster in a bizarre but heartfelt partnership.
