Kyoto Animation has revealed a new trailer for Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie, confirming that the series will conclude with a two-part film. The first part is scheduled to hit Japanese theaters in Spring 2026. This marks the continuation of Kyoto Animation’s work on the franchise, which began with the original anime series in 2015.
The popular anime, available for streaming on Crunchyroll, follows Kumiko, a high school student who was part of a junior high brass band. In the story, Kumiko visits her new high school’s brass band club with her friends Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she meets Reina, a former classmate from junior high. While Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, Kumiko remains uncertain. She reflects on her past experiences with Reina during a junior high competition.
Fans can look forward to the emotional and musical conclusion of this beloved series in 2026.
