The WITCH WATCH anime is embracing classic high school clichés with the introduction of its nine-member student council in episode 10, titled “Trope-tacular Student Council / A Stray Cat’s Bubble of Bliss.” Each member brings unique quirks and is voiced by a well-known seiyuu, many perfectly fitting their roles.
The student council cast includes:
- Tenryu Kiyomiya, voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Mob Psycho 100)
- Ibara Ibu, voiced by Miyuko Sawashiro (Lupin the 3rd)
- Yuzuru Kenmochi, voiced by Jun Fukuyama (Code Geass)
- Syrup, voiced by Rie Kugimiya (Hayate the Combat Butler!)
- Kuromitsu, voiced by Misaki Kuno (The Apothecary Diaries)
- Riro Takumi, voiced by Noriko Hidaka (Ranma 1/2)
- Burst, voiced by Kenta Miyake (My Hero Academia)
- Kyoki Saiko, voiced by Jun Fukushima (KONOSUBA)
- Daiki Sakai Mk.II, voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
WITCH WATCH follows Morihito Otogi, a high schooler with ogre-like strength, whose peaceful life changes when his childhood friend and witch-in-training, Nico Wakatsuki, moves in. Nico makes Morihito her familiar, and together they face mystical challenges and dangers.
The series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll as part of the spring anime lineup.
