YOASOBI has released an English version music video for their song “Watch me!,” the opening theme for the spring 2025 anime WITCH WATCH. The video is available on YOASOBI’s official YouTube channel.
The original Japanese version of “Watch me!” was released digitally on May 18 and quickly reached the top of Oricon’s weekly digital single charts. Its music video has garnered over 5.7 million views. The English version maintains the original Japanese sound while featuring rhythmical English pronunciation.
A limited edition deluxe CD set, including both the Japanese and English versions of “Watch me!,” will be released in Japan on June 25, 2025. The set will include a box with an illustration of Nico, the main heroine, drawn by the anime production team, a novel by Kenta Shinohara (the original manga author), and an original key charm inspired by the song’s world.
The WITCH WATCH anime, adapted from Kenta Shinohara’s manga, premiered in Japan on April 6, 2025. Crunchyroll streams the series in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and Southeast Asia.
Crunchyroll describes the series: Morihito Otogi, a strong high schooler, finds his peaceful life disrupted when his childhood friend Nico Wakatsuki, a witch-in-training, moves in and makes him her familiar. He must now protect her from dangers foretold in prophecies, leading to a series of mystical and challenging days.
