The upcoming My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime has revealed four new cast members, including the voices behind the idol duo FeatherS.
Ayana Taketatsu, known for her role as Kei Karuizawa in Classroom of the Elite, will voice Miu. Sayumi Suzushiro, who played Uruka Takemoto in We Never Learn: BOKUBEN, will voice Yu, the other half of the FeatherS duo.
Joining them are Masumi Tazawa (Kizuna no Allele) as the captain of the East Naruhata High Dance Squad, and Yuki Shin (Tokyo Revengers) as the lead singer of the rock band Mad Hatters.
These new additions follow the previously announced casting of Asami Seto as Makoto Tsukauchi.
Based on the manga by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes ran from August 2016 to May 2022. It was first serialized in Jump GIGA before moving to Shonen Jump+ and spans 15 volumes.
The anime is directed by Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) at BONES FILM. Series composition is handled by Yosuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia), with character designs by Takahiko Yoshida (Cells at Work!). The music team includes Yuki Hayashi, Shogo Yamashira, and Yuki Furuhashi.
Currently streaming on Crunchyroll, the series follows Koichi Haimawari, a college student with modest ambitions. Though he dreams of becoming a hero, his life changes when he and Pop☆Step are rescued by the vigilante Knuckleduster—and recruited to join the ranks of underground heroes.
