The World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, will feature a special anime food-themed event called “Anime x Food Fes THE ENNICHI.” The festival will run for seven days, from July 2 to July 8, 2025.
Visitors can enjoy food and drinks inspired by popular anime characters and worlds. The event will have 21 stalls created by 16 different companies. These stalls will be located inside the Expo Messe “WASSE” venue, which is part of the Expo site.
The event’s theme is “Ennichi,” which means a festival or a special day to connect with gods and Buddha in Japanese culture. The festival aims to connect anime and food with Japan and the world. It also provides a chance for fans from Japan and abroad to come together.
The venue will be decorated like a traditional Ennichi festival. Leading Japanese companies will offer unique collaboration dishes inspired by well-known anime series.
In addition to food, visitors can buy original goods featuring anime characters dressed in yukata (traditional summer kimono). Four anime series will participate in the event, each offering exclusive merchandise:
- Restaurant to Another World 2
- KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world!
- Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill
