The official website for the original TV anime Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse released a third trailer and a new key visual today. The anime is set to premiere in Japan on July 2, 2025.
The latest trailer features the opening theme song, “CRY OUT CRY OVER”, performed by the music group Who-ya Extended. The ending theme, titled “TURN OVER,” is sung by 9Lana, an artist known for her unique “chameleon voice” that can shift across nine different vocal styles.

Our new song, ‘CRY OUT CRY OVER,’ is a rock track that matches the anime’s intense battles involving reincarnation, time travel, and Onmyoujutsu. Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse will be streamed on Crunchyroll as it airs in Japan. The service will be available to viewers in North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

Story Synopsis (via Crunchyroll):
Naruhira Takeru is a delinquent haunted by dreams of a girl named Tsukimiya. After a sudden accident, he finds himself transported to a parallel world—Tsukimiya’s world. When both are killed by a monster, Takeru awakens again and realizes he has leapt through time. Now, he must train under Abe Seimei to fight and protect Tsukimiya’s life.
