The production team behind Apocalypse Hotel, the original TV anime from CyberAgent and Cygames Pictures, announced three additional cast members on Wednesday:
- Takahide Adachi as the Gentle Alien
- Kenjirō Tsuda as the Aggressive Alien
- Hina Kino as Tamako, the daughter of Ponko and Ponstin
The anime premiered in Japan on April 8 and is currently streaming on ABEMA, Lemino, and Animate Times. International audiences can watch the series on Crunchyroll.
The lead character, Yachiyo—the robot manager of the Ginzarō Hotel—is voiced by Saho Shirasu.

Story Overview:
Set in a deserted Ginza district of Tokyo, Apocalypse Hotel takes place after the collapse of human society. Nature has reclaimed most of the land, and humans have vanished. At the center of the story is Yachiyo, a hotel management robot who continues to run the Ginzarō Hotel alongside other robots, patiently awaiting the return of the hotel’s guests and owners.

A spinoff manga, Apocalypse Hotel Pusupusu (Apocalypse Hotel Sputtering), launched on April 11 via Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website. The manga is illustrated by Izumi Takemoto, the original character designer of the anime.
Cygames Pictures’ most recent original anime project was Brave Bang Bravern!, directed by Masami Ōbari, which premiered in January 2024. The studio is also producing Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray, based on Taiyo Kuzumi’s manga adaptation of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise.
