The upcoming second season of the DAN DA DAN anime has announced two new voice cast members. Hiroyuki Yoshino will voice Manjiro, while Naomi Ozora will play the role of Chiquitita.
Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 3, 2025. Crunchyroll will simulcast the new season as part of its Summer 2025 anime lineup.
The anime is based on the DAN DA DAN manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, which is serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ digital magazine. VIZ Media publishes the English version of the manga.
Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora return to direct Season 2 at animation studio Science SARU. Hiroshi Seko is in charge of series composition and scripts, with character designs by Naoyuki Onda and music composed by Kensuke Ushio.
According to Crunchyroll, the story follows high schooler Momo, who comes from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast. Their debate over the existence of ghosts and aliens leads them into a world where both are real. As they confront these supernatural forces, Momo discovers a hidden power, and Okarun becomes cursed. Together, they fight to protect their world from paranormal threats.
