The anime adaptation of Touring After the Apocalypse has officially confirmed its release date for October 2025. This announcement comes after the recent unveiling of a teaser visual, trailer, and details about the cast and production team.
Studio Nexus is handling the animation for the series. The main characters, Yoko and Airi, will be voiced by Konomi Inagaki and Miyu Tomita, respectively.
Touring After the Apocalypse (also known as Shumatsu Touring) follows two girls traveling across a post-apocalyptic Japan. Despite the destruction around them, Yoko and Airi turn their journey into a unique sightseeing adventure. They visit famous locations such as Hakone’s hot springs and Tokyo Big Sight, exploring the ruins left by an unspecified disaster.
The anime is produced with support from Aniplex. It is based on the manga by Sakae Saito, which has been serialized in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh magazine since 2020. As of March 2025, seven volumes have been published. Yen Press holds the English license for the manga.
