The comedy manga Genkai OL Kirigiri Giriko is set to premiere as a short-form anime series beginning May 28. Branded as a “light anime,” new episodes will be released four times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays—at 7 p.m. via the series’ official X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok accounts.
Each episode will run for about 30 seconds, with a total of 32 episodes scheduled for the season.
Voice actress Kaori Shimizu will play the lead role of Kirigiri Giriko. She will be joined by Ryoka Yuzuki as Aya Ichikawa and Wakana Kowaka as Yuri Himekusa.
Originally created as a gourmet gag manga, Genkai OL Kirigiri Giriko follows Giriko, an office worker who survives on ultra-cheap, extreme meals she calls “limit meals.” The manga is independently published on Shonen Jump+, with new chapters released every Tuesday.
