The second season of the Call of the Night anime will premiere on July 4 at 23:30 JST, as announced by the official website and social media accounts. Alongside the premiere date, the series revealed a new key visual and the casting of Maaya Uchida as Haru Nanakusa, a nurse connected to Nazuna’s hidden past.
The new season will dive into the Cigarette Case Arc, offering fans a deeper look into the characters and story.

The anime is based on the manga by Kotoyama, who also created Dagashi Kashi. The manga ran in Weekly Shonen Sunday from August 2019 to January 2024.
Story Overview
Call of the Night follows Ko, a restless teen who wanders the streets at night. One evening, he meets Nazuna, a mysterious girl who invites him to spend the night in an abandoned building. Ko’s nighttime adventures begin as he discovers Nazuna is a vampire. Their bond deepens with each encounter, but things become complicated when someone from Ko’s past reappears and challenges his growing relationship with Nazuna.
