Fans of the hit paranormal anime DAN DA DAN will soon get an early look at Season 2 on the big screen. The first three episodes, along with an exclusive interview featuring co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora, will premiere in global theaters (excluding Japan) this May under the title DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE.

Story Overview
DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE continues the adventures of Momo, a spirited high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her eccentric classmate Okarun, who is obsessed with the occult. In this new arc, the pair visit a mysterious hot springs town to investigate the haunted home of Momo’s childhood friend Jiji. Strange locals and supernatural disturbances quickly turn their investigation into chaos.

Streaming and Release
Season 2 of DAN DA DAN officially premieres on July 3. The series will be available for streaming worldwide on Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, Muse, and ADN.
The anime is adapted from the manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+. The English version is published by VIZ Media.
Series Synopsis
The story follows Momo and Okarun, two classmates who debate the existence of ghosts and aliens. To prove their points,
they each visit locations tied to paranormal rumors. Momo goes to an abandoned hospital linked to UFO sightings, while
Okarun explores a haunted tunnel. Both encounter shocking supernatural forces. During these events, Momo discovers her
latent powers, and Okarun gains a cursed ability.
Together, they fight bizarre threats, unravel secrets, and navigate their budding feelings for each other. DAN DA DAN mixes horror, comedy, romance, and action into a high-energy tale of adolescence and the occult.
