The hit anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is set to return to theaters with a trilogy of films titled Demon Slayer – The Movie: Infinity Castle, adapting the final arc of the manga. The films will follow the Demon Slayer Corps as they face off against the demon king Muzan Kibutsuji and his most powerful followers in a last battle to save humanity.
The first film premieres in Japan on July 18, 2025, and in the U.S. and Canada on September 12, 2025, with both subtitled and dubbed versions available. It will also release across Asia in August and Europe in mid-September. A sneak preview was shown during the May 2025 theatrical return of Mugen Train.
Announced in June 2024 after the Season 4 finale, the Infinity Castle trilogy will cover high-stakes battles inside Muzan’s labyrinth-like stronghold. With their leader Ubuyashiki gone, the Demon Slayers are pulled into a trap and forced to fight alone against powerful demons—including familiar foes like Akaza, Doma, and the formidable Kokushibo.
Fan favorites Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke return alongside most of the Hashira, except the retired Tengen Uzui. Notably, Zenitsu must confront Kaigaku, a former ally turned demon. The climax of the trilogy promises to showcase Muzan’s full power in his final showdown against the surviving Slayers.
While no dates have been announced for Parts 2 and 3, they are expected in 2026 and 2027. After its theatrical run, the first film will stream on Crunchyroll, with future streaming plans yet to be confirmed.
More updates, including trailers and international release info, are expected soon as anticipation builds for the epic conclusion.
