Aniplex has unveiled the second promotional video and key visual for the upcoming Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus TV anime. The video previews the ending theme song and confirms the anime’s premiere date as July 5.The ending theme, titled “Suiheisen wa Boku no Furukizu” (“The Horizon Is My Old Wound”), is performed by the characters Uzuki Hirokawa, Ikumi Akagi, Sara Himeji, and Tōko Kirishima. Meanwhile, the opening theme “Snowdrop” will be performed by Conton Candy.
Broadcast and Streaming Information
The anime will debut on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 on July 5 at 11:30 p.m. JST (10:30 a.m. EDT). It will also stream on ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai. Additional TV broadcasts will air on Asahi Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) TV, Mētele, and AT-X.

About the Series
Based on the popular light novels by Hajime Kamoshida, the Rascal Does Not Dream series began in 2014 and is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024. The story follows Sakuta Azusagawa as he encounters girls experiencing mysterious phenomena tied to their emotional struggles, known as “Adolescence Syndrome.”

The Santa Claus installment adapts content from the series’ “University Student Arc.” Yen Press publishes the light novel series in English. The 15th and final volume, Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend, was released in Japan in October 2024.
