To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Shonen Jump+ has announced a special collaboration with three major animation studios to bring several one-shot manga to life as anime adaptations. The participating studios are WIT STUDIO, CONTRAIL, and Production I.G.
The project is being led by JOEN, a creative joint venture formed in May 2022 by Aniplex, CloverWorks, WIT STUDIO, and Shueisha. Although the specific one-shot stories to be adapted have not yet been revealed, more information will be shared soon through the official 10th anniversary website and on the Shonen Jump+ platform.
Shonen Jump+ launched in 2014 as a digital manga platform and has since become home to some of the most popular modern manga series, including SPY x FAMILY, Kaiju No. 8, and Chainsaw Man. This new initiative highlights the platform’s continued efforts to innovate and expand its reach in both print and animation.
