Soft drink brand Oasis has launched a fresh collaboration with One Piece, turning its popular fruit-flavored drinks into characters from the Straw Hat Pirates, just in time for spring.
Following a successful partnership with Naruto Shippuden last year, Oasis is now bringing the beloved One Piece crew to its drinks. The brand has released a fun animated commercial set to One Piece’s first opening theme, “We Are,” transforming the Straw Hat members into fruity versions of themselves. The commercial showcases the crew aboard the Thousand Sunny, but only four of the limited-edition drinks are revealed, with a fifth can marked as “available soon.”
The drinks feature fruit representations of the characters: Luffy is an orange for the Tropical flavor, Zoro is an apple for the Apple, Black Currant, and Raspberry flavor, Nami is a peach for the Peach Tea flavor, and Sanji is a pear for the Apple-Pear option. The remaining flavor, featuring other Straw Hat members like Jinbe, remains a mystery but is likely to include fruits such as apricot, strawberry, and kiwi.
Meanwhile, One Piece fans have more exciting news. The English dub of the anime is finally catching up to the Japanese episodes after 18 years, with Crunchyroll producing the current dub. Toonami has also started airing One Piece in an hour-long block, showing two episodes each week. Additionally, after a six-month hiatus, the anime will return on April 9, resuming the “Egghead” arc.
One Piece is available on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu, with the manga accessible via Viz Media and Manga Plus apps.
