The official accounts for The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows anime have released a new story visual and voice drama focusing on Krishna, the Vice-Commander of the Royal Guard. The fantasy series is currently being simulcast on Crunchyroll.
Based on the light novels by Sakaku Hishikawa and Daburyu, the anime is directed by Joe Yoshizaki at Makaria Inc. The series features scripts by Taika Miyagi, character designs by denpuougi and Yoshihiro Sawada, and music by Harumi Fuuki, known for her work on Management of a Novice Alchemist.

Banished as “useless,” Zenos, a self-taught healer from the slums, transforms his despair into defiance by opening a secret clinic in the shadows of the city. With unmatched, unlicensed magic, he heals, comforts, and rights wrongs, quietly becoming a legend. As his power grows, even the royal palace takes notice.
