Fans of ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess can rejoice as the anime’s official accounts have confirmed that Season 2 will premiere in January 2026. A new teaser visual has also been released, showcasing returning character Hime alongside a new addition, Sakura Heartrock.
Based on the manga by Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei, the first season of ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess was directed by Yoko Kanamori at studio PINE JAM. The series featured Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Shangri-La Frontier) as the writer, character designs by Toshiya Kono (known for his work on Sword Art Online), and music by Masaru Yokoyama (composer for Horimiya). Details on the production staff for the upcoming season have not yet been revealed.
The first season of the series is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll, where it is described as follows:
Amid an ongoing war between the Imperial Army and the Hellhorde, the Princess, armed with the legendary Excalibur sword, is captured and thrown into prison. However, her torment is far from ordinary—she faces a peculiar form of torture. Instead of physical pain, she must endure the temptation of freshly baked toast, steaming hot ramen, and other irresistible treats. Will the Princess manage to resist these culinary delights and protect her kingdom’s secrets?
