The highly anticipated second season of the isekai fantasy anime Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon will debut in July 2025. After more than a year of silence, the series—based on Hirukuma’s light novels—has confirmed its release with a new teaser trailer, a visual preview, and details on the updated staff.
Takashi Yamamoto, known for Onigiri, will take over as director for the second season, produced by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Tatsuya Takahashi, who worked on The Faraway Paladin, will continue as the series’ scriptwriter. Meanwhile, Takahiro Sakai, recognized for his work on Yuki Yuna is a Hero, will remain the character designer, alongside Naoki Yamauchi, who previously served as the chief animation director.
The first season of Reborn as a Vending Machine aired from July to September 2023, with Crunchyroll streaming the episodes. The show follows Boxxo, a man reincarnated as a sentient vending machine in a fantasy world. Although he retains his ability to see and hear, Boxxo can neither move nor speak beyond his programmed phrases. The series explores how he adapts to his new, mechanical life.
