A new key visual for the upcoming anime See You Tomorrow at the Food Court has been revealed today, confirming its premiere in July 2025. The slice-of-life series will feature Yoshino Aoyama and Hiyori Miyazaki as the lead characters, Yamamoto and Wada, respectively, as shown in the new visual.
The anime is adapted from the manga by Shinichiro Nariie, with Kazuomi Koga, known for Rent-a-Girlfriend, directing at Atelier Pontdarc. The series composition is handled by Jukki Hanada, the writer behind The Dangers in My Heart, while Kyuta Sakai, known for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, is responsible for character designs and chief animation direction. Music will be composed by Kana Utatane, who previously worked on Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!.
The official English version of the manga is published by Yen Press, which describes the plot as follows:
To their classmates, Wada appears as a quiet, rich girl, while Yamamoto is seen as an intimidating loner. However, their classmates are unaware of their hidden sides: Wada is a mobile game enthusiast deeply involved in a love-hate relationship with a 2D character, while Yamamoto is obsessed with urban legends and follows her favorite YouTuber. Their biggest secret? These two unlikely friends meet every day at the food court after school to vent, discuss their passions, and discover more about each other’s quirks.
