The manga 29-sai Dokushin Chuuken Boukensha no Nichijou (translated as “Daily Life of a 29-Year-Old Single Mid-Level Adventurer”) by Ippei Nara will be adapted into a TV anime. The broadcast date is yet to be announced.
The official anime website and social media launched today, featuring a teaser trailer and visual. Toshinori Fukushima (TAMAYOMI: The Baseball Girls) directs the anime, with Yoshihiro Nagamori (BEYBLADE X) handling character designs and HORNETS producing the animation.
Fukushima shared, “The series combines laughter and tears in a relaxed style, and I hope viewers enjoy the characters’ individuality.” Nagamori added, “The characters’ evolution was both challenging and fun to adapt, and I hope the audience enjoys the story’s lively and heartwarming atmosphere.”
Makoto Furukawa voices the lead, Shinonome Hajime, while Sayumi Suzushiro voices Lirui, the female protagonist. Furukawa described the anime as a depiction of “colorful days with laughter, serious moments, and tense situations,” while Suzushiro praised the peaceful and charming world of the manga.
The manga has been serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since 2016, with 18 volumes released. The 19th volume is due on May 9.
The story follows Hajime, an adventurer in Komai village, who takes in Lirui, a girl he rescues from a dungeon. Together, they embark on a fun yet emotional journey.
