A new anime adaptation has been announced for the manga Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi. While specific details are limited, the announcement confirms the basic crew for this high school rom-com series.
The manga, written by Takuma Yokota, is titled The Story Between a Dumb Prefect and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length, often shortened to PonSuka. The announcement artwork features the two main characters: Tougo Sakuradaimon, the “dumb prefect,” and Poemu Kohinata, the high school girl at the center of the story.
Daiji Iwanaga, known for his work as episode director on My First Girlfriend Is a Gal, will direct the anime at Zero-G, with Yo Himuro, who worked on sub character designs for Delicious in Dungeon, handling the character designs.
The original manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine.
