The English dub of The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows anime will begin streaming on Crunchyroll on Thursday, April 17. The series, which explores themes of family and community, will feature a talented voice cast and crew to bring its story to life.

The anime, based on the light novels by Sakaku Hishikawa and Daburyu, is directed by Joe Yoshizaki at Makaria Inc. The script is written by Taika Miyagi, with character designs by denpuougi and Yoshihiro Sawada. Music is composed by Harumi Fuuki, known for his work on Management of a Novice Alchemist.
Synopsis: Zenos, a self-taught healer from the slums, has been cast aside as “useless.” However, he transforms despair into defiance and opens a secret clinic in the shadows of the city. With his unmatched magic, he quietly cures, comforts, and sets things right, becoming a legendary figure. As his power grows, even the royal palace takes notice. Will he overcome the odds and heal the world that rejected him?
The series will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll starting April 17.
