Synopsis
The story follows Takeru Narihira, a lone-wolf high school delinquent haunted by dreams of a mysterious girl named Tsukimiya. After falling off a cliff in a freak accident, Takeru wakes up in Denji Heian-kyo, a futuristic, high-tech version of Japan’s ancient capital. The city is protected by elite onmyoji, led by Abeno Seimei, and to his shock, the Tsukimiya from his dreams is real.
Their reunion is short-lived—both Takeru and Tsukimiya are killed in an attack by a monstrous entity called an Oni, emerging from a strange “Black Mist.” But in the next moment, Takeru awakens again in Denji Heian-kyo, seemingly thrown back in time.
Determined to change fate, Takeru begins training under Abeno Seimei, embracing the ancient art of onmyo to fight and protect the future of the girl he loves.
