Synopsis:
Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK compiles the final two episodes of the Attack on Titan anime series into a massive omnibus film, marking the franchise’s first theatrical experience. This epic finale brings the gripping story of humanity’s fight against the Titans to a climactic conclusion.
The series follows Eren Yeager, a young boy who loses his mother during an attack by the monstrous Titans. Fueled by revenge, Eren joins the Survey Corps to battle the creatures threatening humanity. Over the years, he gains a mysterious power that reveals dark truths about the world. As Eren sets his sights on a catastrophic plan to destroy all life—known as the “Rumbling”—his former friends and foes unite in a desperate bid to stop him. The fate of the world now hangs in the balance as they face this impossible challenge.

Directed by Yuichiro Hayashi at MAPPA, Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK features series composition and screenplay by Hiroshi Seko. Tomohiro Kishi provides character designs, while Daisuke Ninuma serves as Chief Animation Director. The art direction is by Kuniaki Nemoto, with music composed by Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano.
The movie, which premiered in Japan on November 8, 2024, is based on Attack on Titan’s final two episodes: THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1 (aired on March 4, 2023) and THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2 (aired on November 5, 2023).
