Chapter 4 Synopsis:
After a failed defection attempt by Princess Mary, espionage team White Pigeon is captured by the Royal Home Guard. Upon discovering the girls’ ties to the Republic, the Duke of Normandy forces them to act as double agents for both the Kingdom and the Republic. While the Princess remains under the Duke’s control, the rest of the team is released—albeit under strict surveillance.
Suspicions arise within the Republic about Team White Pigeon’s loyalty. To verify their allegiance, Control assigns the girls a new mission: to infiltrate a factory and make contact with a man suspected of disrupting the Republic’s economy. As Ange, Dorothy, Beatrice, and Chise proceed with the mission, they find themselves caught in a deepening web of political intrigue, their fate increasingly uncertain.
