The official X account (formerly Twitter) for the CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD franchise has announced that the Divinez Deluxe Final Arc anime will begin broadcasting in Japan on July 5, 2025. Alongside the announcement, a new key visual was released, featuring the top eight finalists of the “Deluxe” tournament.
The visual showcases the final competitors vying for the title of the strongest VANGUARD fighter: Akina Myodo, Kagetsu Yakumo, Suo Yobitsugi, Erika Myojo, Megumi Okura, Mirei Minae, Michiru Hazama, and Ruka Miyako.
The Deluxe Final Arc marks the continuation of the CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez series, the third entry in the franchise’s “D Series.” The “D Series” began with CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD overDress, which aired from April to December 2021, followed by will+Dress from July 2022 to October 2023.
Divinez premiered on January 13, 2024. Its first season ran from January to April 2024, followed by the second season from July to October 2024. The third installment, titled the Deluxe Arc, aired from January 11 to April 19, 2025. The “D Series” is scheduled to continue for a total of nine consecutive cours, ending in December 2025.
Crunchyroll is currently streaming the first two seasons of CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez for users worldwide, excluding Japan, China, and North and South Korea.
According to the official synopsis, the Deluxe Arc begins after the Battle of Fate. Akina is enjoying a quiet life when she receives an invitation to the “Deluxe” tournament—a high-stakes competition to determine the strongest VANGUARD player. As she prepares to return to the battlefield, a mysterious figure from her past appears. Her mentor Nao poses a crucial question: “What is it that you are playing VANGUARD for?”
