Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle will debut in theaters and IMAX across North America on September 12, distributed by Crunchroll. The film will be available in both Japanese with English subtitles and an English-dubbed version.
The movie is part of a trilogy that concludes the story of the popular anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which first premiered in 2019. The anime is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, published from 2016 to 2020.
Set during Japan’s Taisho era, the film follows Tanjiro Kamado, a compassionate young boy whose family is slaughtered by demons. His younger sister, Nezuko, is the only survivor but has been turned into a demon herself.
Determined to restore Nezuko to her human form and avenge his family, Tanjiro sets out to become a demon slayer.
The film is produced by Ufotable, the animation studio behind the Demon Slayer series, with Haruo Sotozaki, who also directed the series, serving as the film’s director.
