The third season of To Your Eternity will premiere in October 2025, as confirmed by the official anime website and social media channels. Along with the announcement, a teaser visual for the upcoming season was revealed. However, additional details about the cast and staff are yet to be disclosed.
Crunchyroll also confirmed that it will stream the new season when it debuts in the fall 2025 anime lineup.
To Your Eternity, the manga series written by Yoshitoki Oima, began serialization in November 2016 and has since released 23 volumes in Japan. Kodansha USA publishes the English version of the manga.
The anime’s first season was directed by Masahiko Murata at Brain’s Base, with Shinzo Fujita handling the series composition and script, Koji Yabuno designing the characters, and Ryo Kawasaki composing the music. The second season, directed by Kiyoko Sayama at Studio Drive, saw the return of Fujita, Yabuno, and Kawasaki. The first season aired from April to August 2021, while the second season ran from October 2022 to March 2023.
Both previous seasons are currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll, with options for both subbed and dubbed versions.
The series follows an otherworldly being known as “It,” who can transform into any form that stimulates it and comes back to life after death. Starting as an orb, “It” evolves into a rock, then a wolf, and finally a boy named Fushi. Through various encounters, Fushi learns survival skills and grows emotionally, but faces challenges from the destructive Nokkers and the painful loss of loved ones.
